a place hosting the generation of knowledge.
BEIC, La Fondazione Biblioteca Europea di Informazione e Cultura, is expecting a new hub in Milan. We're taking this chance to reimagine what a library should be like, in Milan.
Near Porta Vittoria, BEIC will become a new hotspot
so we freed the ground floor for the pedestrian.
A hat truss solution is introduced in this project; it suspends the floors and the facade system.
The new BEIC is a social space for all citizens.
